Relayter automates the design & production process of large volume marketing content for retailers. Whether they work with weekly ad folders, product brochures & magazines, daily product banners or regularly changing POS material. Relayter helps them generate it quick and efficient.

My role

As one of the UI / UX designers I was responsible for creating clean and functional designs for the various features of the Relayter application. While working in the scrum team I converted user stories to clean yet functional features. I also helped create a Design System to streamline the design to development process and made various branding related products.

The application has Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) features so clients can easily add, edit and manage their data in one place.

Users can create multiple different intricate templates with an extensive custom Template Creation tool and fill these templates with products and images, which are imported in Relayter itself.

We've passed the need for a multitude of sticky notes with adjustments on it. Relayter brings every relevant user together and makes sure everything is crystal clear from start to finish. All in one digital space.

The Big Toy Book

One of the best examples of a product realised by Relayter is 'Het Grote Speelgoedboek' by Bol.com. Relayter handled the layout planning process and filled the pages with the correct data. Relayter then automatically generated the InDesign files which an agency used to finalize the design.

Campaigns

As one of the UI / UX designers at Relayter I worked on the marketing material for several on- and offline campaigns. These campaigns needed material like magazine ads, flyers, posters, banners, etc. Another important aspect was photography and videography, some of which I had a hand in directing. 

Scrum master  ( psm-1 )

During my three year work period at Relayter I grew into a more overseeing role, which turned into me picking up multiple scrum master tasks. This motivated me and the company to pursue a PSM-1 degree. After getting this degree I gained the scrum master role in the scrum team.
